The Wonder Of Nature
This being a relatively early weekend in our collected San Francisco life, we gave some of it over to exploring the city, and specifically today we’ve been to Golden Gate Park. We made the foolish assumption that we could just turn up to the recently reopened Academy of Arts and Science, but that was foolish. Book in advance on the website for another day is the advice I’d offer on that one.

So instead we went for a walk in the Botanical Gardens, which were lovely - not over-formal, huge and varied, and full of the tamest squirrels we’ve ever seen. We spent a good couple of hours in the park and barely scratched the surface. Definitely somewhere to return to, even over and above the Academy.
