Today’s SF Chronicle makes it clear that on the issue of Proposition 8, California is in two minds, with a divide broadly but not wholly defined between the coast and the inland regions.
The more I see, the more worried I get about this vote.
Two points about the Proposition 8 campaign I mentioned the other day:
1) There’s a church on my commute route with a ‘No On Prop 8′ sign on its noticeboard. Possibly the first time I’ve *ever* approved of a church.

I am. My drift away from gay bars and clubs started years ago, and since I entered into connubial bliss my motto on the subject has tended to be “why bother when we can stay at home and rewatch Doctor Who?”
