Odd Week
Been a bit all over the shop - had the trip to Santa Barbara, when I drove through an area that two days later was engulfed in flames, then on Wednesday night we went to the cinema to see Role Models, which I’ll review separately, before, yes my friends, we are indeed this sad: lining up for several hours at a game shop for the midnight release of the new World of Warcraft expansion Wrath of the Lich King (don’t ask).
Through the week I’ve been working on quite a long posting about the No On Prop 8 campaign, which continues to be an active topic despite the success of the Prop on Election Day, with protests planned across the country and indeed internationally today. I will do my best to get that posting finished soon - and while I’m on a ‘plane back to Blighty tomorrow if not before. Yes - I’m heading back for a week for meetings. So it’s all go, and hence the quietness.
